As inveterate collectors of paper ephemera, we thought it might be fun to share some of our stash with Cladrite Radio readers from time to time.
We picked up the following pair of hat labels recently. We wondered if they weren’t ads meant to be pasted about town, in the manner one found (and still finds) them in large cities.
But a post at a blog called The Haunted Lamp suggests that they are labels meant for hat boxes, and it’s entirely possible that’s correct.
Either way, we like them. Though the Linney homberg’s a bit banker-y for our tastes, we’d wear that Owl brand fedora in a heartbeat.
